Mike Moats is an international award winning, professional Macro Photographer from Sterling Heights, Michigan.
He started shooting as a hobby in 2001 and it quickly grew into a full-time business. His images and articles have been published in multiple magazines, blogs and newsleters. He's won numerous local and international awards, and was asked to join the Fuji Pro Talent Team in 2006, and is a member of Tamron’s “Image Masters”.
In 2006, he started offering Close-Up/Macro Photography Workshops that QUICKLY fill up. His first book was released in October 2008 and is called Tiny Landscapes. I travel the country teaching my Macro Boot Camps, and offer how-to macro videos and e-books. Also you may catch me speaking at many of the photo conferences held around the country.
